The Remaining Days
Spirits of the underworld have returned to the land of Isarath, a sign that the prophecy of the Remaining Days is unfolding. A new Kadran, the hero of legend, must arise. The prophecy claims he will wield his staff and vanquish the Impara once and for all. If he is not found, Isarath will become a wasteland again.
Adona is an educated shepherdess who dreams of someday attending a university. Adona’s family is captured by a rebel group wishing to bring justice to their land. To secure her family’s freedom, she undertakes a daunting task: to find the prophesied Kadran.
Accompanied by her friends, Adona sets out on a perilous journey through a land on the brink of war. Together, they must navigate treacherous terrain and face human and otherworldly enemies, determined to save their world before it ends.

About the Author
Laura started creating stories before she could write. She would narrate them to her mom, who would write them down for her. From age five, Laura knew she wanted to be an author. She wanted to inspire people the same way books had inspired her.
Laura began writing The Remaining Days in 2017 when she couldn't sleep one night. She was inspired by Psalm 8:2, "Out of the mouth of babes and infants you have ordained strength because of your enemies, that you may silence the enemy and the avenger." From this, Laura began to create a fantasy world with forces of evil similar to the ones in our own.
Adona Sahin was born that night. She is not as outspoken or fearless as other heroines, but she is wise and loyal. She is motivated by a desire to protect the people she loves and is willing to risk her life to do so. In her is portrayed the strength of being a woman, but the kindness it takes to be a friend. It would take Laura seven years to fully create this world and finish The Remaining Days.
Laura currently lives in San Antonio, TX. She is a Christian, an artist, and a writer. She hopes to inspire and entertain people through her stories. Currently, she manages a coffee shop, but would love to make writing and art a full-time career. The Remaining Days is her debut novel.
